Tapavino

In the Heart of Sydney's CBD are a number of heritage listed buildings situated above the cities historic tank stream. One of these unique properties is home to Tapavino, a Spanish tapas bar. In 2024 Tapavino underwent renovations which included upgrades to its commercial kitchen. JPS Plumbing and Property were brought in to complete the renovations. Due to the tank stream beneath the property and the heritage listing, gravity drainage for the new kitchen was not possible.

To facilitate efficient and reliable drainage for the new kitchen, JPS Plumbing and Property reached out to the technical team at SFA Pumps (Saniflo) for a solution. As the bar can be a high traffic environment, and to avoid the possibility of a high level incident in the heritage listed property, a high capacity inground tank was specified - the Sanifos 610 GR.

The Sanifos unit provided both piece of mind during operating hours, and simplified servicing, while also nullifying any risk to the heritage listing. Without a pumping solution, the renovations to this unique Sydney CBD location would not have been possible.
